Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) Program

SSW is a system that allows highly skilled people to work in Japan. To do this, applicants must have Japanese language proficiency of N4 or (A2 level on the JFT) and pass a technical exam to confirm their knowledge of a specific industry. Of the 16 industries, we are considering courses related to industries for which exams are administered in Bangladesh.

Program Offering

Requirements

To apply for an SSW visa, you must meet the following criteria:

Language Requirement

Pass at least JLPT N4 (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) or equivalent language test.

Skill Certification

Pass the designated skill test for the selected category.

Education Requirement

Must have completed HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate)

Visa Duration

Visa durations of each category

Type 1 (SSW-1)

Valid for 5 years. Initially, workers under this category cannot bring family members.

Type 2 (SSW-2)

After completing Type 1 and gaining experience, the visa can be extended for another 5 years. At this stage, you are allowed to bring your spouse and children to Japan.
